The body of this piece is made of Bubinga, and the screw-in lid is made of Ebony. The vertical piece of
the lid is an exceptionally beautiful piece of ebony. Under strong
light, it has a shimmer of brown and black that looks like a gem stone. The body was made using the same process as the other vessels in this section. It is in essence two bowls glued together at their rims. It is 10 inches in diameter and 15 inches tall. This piece was made so it could be used as an urn for the cremated ashes of an large adult human, but it is not limited to this use. I have one of these in inventory.
